Cultural Awareness in Healthcare Minor

The cultural awareness in health and healthcare minor explores the impact of society on health-related topics. Courses for the minor focus on cultural, social, and ethical issues that have implications in health and medicine.

This minor is ideal for science majors wanting exposure to nonscience subjects related to healthcare, those who care to learn more about social determinants of health, and those who want to develop cultural humility and demonstrate cultural competence to professional schools.
